David Feldman and his staff helped me with a challenging move in which things had to be packed and brought to three people locally, with other furniture, valuable art, etc. going to three people out of town. The move was flawless. The scheduled tagging and packing happened as planned, and the movers delivered everything to the right people, right on schedule. In addition, everything arrived in perfect shape, and the site of the original move was clean and ready for the new owners to move in. I don’t know how they did it, but they did. I had heard that Home Again Transitions was the best and that they were reasonably priced. I couldn’t have asked for a better moving experience and would recommend them for any job, no matter how big or small. David and his staff members were smart, attentive, courteous and detail-oriented. Everyone was very competent and very professional. Don’t hesitate to reach out to them.

What a wonderful organization! We worked with David, and, thanks to his knowledge, patience, and hard physical work, we were able to sort, organize, and move fifteen years of “stuff’ in only a few weeks. Although I felt overwhelmed at first by the amount of packing that needed to be done to “size down,” David assured us we would accomplish our goal on time, and we finished everything a few days early. because of their excellent project management and organizational skills but because of their sensitivity and emotional intelligence. Moving out of our home of 50 years required massive amounts of planning and support around decision making. It required deep experience and knowledge about how and where to ship, store, sell, contribute, ship 50 years of possessions going in multiple directions in a timely and efficient way. It required timelines and deadlines in order to finally get us “out” and they were able to accomplish all that in a seamless fashion with no glitches. They are extremely hard working and dedicated- they are problem solvers- they are goal oriented and know how to manage the multiple moving parts associated with a large move. They created extensive and accurate inventories of our possessions and know exactly where everything went. But, most important- they are a complete pleasure to work with- they have a calm “can-do” attitude and wonderful senses of humor. This move has been a huge transition for us and it will take close to 2 years to be completed. Debbie & David believe that their job will be done only when we are completely settled in our new home and that includes organizing and implementing all things necessary to make that happen. We could not have done this without them!

HomeAgain Transitions goes far beyond their job descriptions. No task is too small if it makes their client feel comfortable and the big jobs are carefully orchestrated. This was my first move on my own in some 50 years. When my husband died a year ago I could not see clearly how I could manage this move without him. You will appreciate why I call HomeAgain my “rent-a-husband.” The evening of the very first day at my new home, a neighbor came in and, seeing everything set up and ready for me, she asked how long I have lived there! This is very well-run operation, headed by a congenial couple who hire competent, pleasant workers. They were recommended to us enthusiastically by happy customers and we now do the same. It is, however and of course, costly. We were lucky to not need much weeding out, keeping prep and throw-out time to a minimum, and the job came in at the midpoint of their estimate. We swear it was worth every nickel! Debbie’s magnetic floor plan is especially helpful, as is David’s picture- hanging skill.

Without Debbie and David, putting the house I had lived in with my family for more than 35 years on the market would have required 3 years, and lots and lots of anguish and work. Instead it took about 3 months from our beginning work sorting the ridiculous amount of stuff in my house, to a largely empty house, fully staged and an accepted offer above asking price!! In those three months, I perhaps did 4 not full days of work. They did it all – donated stuff, organized a profitable estate sale, emptied the entire house ,efficiently, smartly, organizing what went to my new apartment, what went to my children and what got stored, and within what got stored what it was being stored for. They had a solution for any problem. They moved me out when I was away and I returned to a fully unpacked apartment; they even hung my pictures! This was an almost unconscionably easy move. I cannot recommend them highly enough to anyone but especially to boomers like me, leaving homes they have been in forever where they have accumulated huge amounts of stuff that is completely daunting to sift through, let alone make decisions about – they provided wise assistance throughout that process and then made it all work. If we had to do our move all over again, I would choose Debbie and Dave. Debbie’s organizational skills are exceptional. She is with you every step of the way – from offering useful suggestions about de-cluttering to packing our items, directing and helping the movers, and anticipating and dealing with needs we ourselves hadn’t anticipated. For instance, when we had packed our furniture the day before the move, Dave gave us use of their personal card table and chairs so we could finish our computer work before leaving. We had a complicated move to another state, but it went without a hitch. Debbie coordinated our move with the people who would unpack us at our new location. She had everything marked, labelled, numbered, and inventoried. Outstanding service; lovely people; hard workers.
